Shikhar fall Dehradun

Shikhar fall is truly an amazing natural waterfall place. Place is well surrounded with high mountains and a huge water fall comes from the mountain top. This place is well famous for its easy connectivity with the city Dehradun. The water is very clear and icy cold. With approx 30mtr wide pond the place is perfect for the young youth to bath beneath fall and chill out picnic spot.

Climate of Shikhar fall Dehradun

This place is fully crowed in summers. But you can still easily get chance to dive into pond and get the relief from heat. Winter the place is almost empty. The wind from the huge fall is very strong and powerful that makes place to cool down.

How to reach Shikhar fall Dehradun

From city center Clocktower it's just 12 km apart on Mussorie highway. Then you have to take a diversion just after Uttranchal Ayurvedic College. The route to fall is master of challenge for the person came first time. Drive carefully there is steep ditch both side the road the. For bike 50 mtrs only the rider alone can get reach because of extreme elevated road. Then you can park your vehicles in the last foothills of mountains and can stark hiking of 1 km to reach the fall.
