Mana Village

Village is highly mention in Holly Places, There is a cave named as "Vyaas Pothi" which is around five thousand years old cave. Here the Lord Ganesh wrote the whole Mahabharat as spoken directed by Maharashi Vyas thus the name turned as Vyaas Pothi. After walking 100 mtrs from here you see the Great Bridge created by Bheem known as Bheem Pool near River Saraswati . This is the only place where you can see Sarswati River after passing through Bheem Pool.
In Mana you can amazing feel to sipping tea under banner says "Last Tea Shop of India".
Regional name of Mana villagers is Marcha and Bhotiya's. entire winter this place is covered with snow and the villagers come down to plane area.
Nearest place to this Mana is Badrinath which is 3 km and Vasudhara Fall which is 10 KM is hiking & trekking.
People buy the very rare and famous plant "Fern" and other Indian Spices because of their smell and taste.

Climat of Mana is cold, If you belong to plane region then you must carry warm clothes with you. The temperature will go rise from 15- 25 °C in summer. The Fog is very dense in rainy sessions.

Reaching here is possible from the day of opening of Badrinath. Both places are connected with the common culture. Starting from the month of May this place can be accesa by only Road Ways. Local Taxi will take you from nearest city, Joshimath. Then you can seek for another Taxi who will take you to Mana. Nearest staying Place of Mana is Badrinath. The newest declaration by 2016 Now this route Mana Pass know as "Ghastoli" is the worlds highest motorable road in world. Before the "Khardungala" in leh was the highest. But Route Ghastoli is a not allowed for civilian road. ITBP and Army has acquire this route and land. The route from New Delhi to Mana is New Delhi -> Haridwar -> Devparag -> Chamoli - > Joshimath -> Badrinath -> Mana one way journy is approx 410 KMS. Route from Joshimath is very danger caution with driving is required. Landsliding is very common in Lambagad Village which is 20 KM from Joshimath.
