It is located in lap of the Himalayas, Kuari pass trek gives you a marvellous view of Mt. Nanda Devi (7,816 m)and Dronagiri parbat from Auli. The pass is used by locals and shepherds,from ancient times. If you are a novice, then it’s your point. Kuari pass trek is easy to moderately difficult.
The Kuari pass trek goes through the beautiful woods of Oak & Rhododendron (Buraans; State flower). The forest takes you through several spectacular meadows in between your trek. It makes the journey more satisfying. When considering camping, Kuari pass is blissful. The trail has many spots where you can set your camps perfectly. Camping in wilderness gives indelible memories with friends.

Climate of Kuari Pass Trek
The best season for the trek is September to December. The weather at Auli is pleasant but the chilly winds make it cold. The weather remains sunny and clear most of the time.

How to reach Kuari Pass Trek
The starting pick up point of the journey is the holy town of Haridwar. You can reach here beforehand and explore the divine delights of Haridwar. From Haridwar, it is 12 h journey to Joshimath. Check trek itinerary for details. As the trek is comparatively easy, you can go on your own but be well prepared with your assets. Registering yourself at the professionals is also an option.
TREK ITINERARY:
Day 1: 265 km road journey from Haridwar to Joshimath( takes 10-12 h).
Day 2: 12 km Drive from Joshimath to Dhak Village (6,956 ft) takes 1hr. 6 km trek from Dhak to Chitrkantha, takes 4 h.
Day 3: 6 km Trek from Chitrakantha to Tali Top, takes 4 h.
Day 4: Trek from Tali Top to Kuari Pass (12,516 ft) via Khullar (10,492 ft), Trek back to Tali Top.
Day 5 : Trek from Tali to Joshimath via Auli (8,625 ft).
Day 6: Joshimath to Haridwar by bus.
