    Jim Corbet is a most famous wild national park of India. Park has its own wildlife century for tigers, mammals and birds. With an extreme 500 sqkm of spread area it is oldest national park in India since 1936. Park is under save tigers initiated by Jim Corbet, A famous man eater tiger British hunter. Park is well established by all its natural environment of rivers flows from hill ranges and dense junngles that is a perfect place of animals. Indian Python, Crocodiles and deers are habituated to here to grow their family countings from extinction. Some breeding programs are monitored also. Jim Corbet is divided into five big ranges, namely - - Jhirana - Bijrani - Dhikala - Durga Devi - Sonanadi Only Dikala is the range where tigers rule. The chances of spotting the tigers are full since they live only in this range. National Geographic team and Researchers are permitted to enter in this range. Dhangari is the main entry gate for Dhikala zone. Sultan, Sarapduli, Gairal and Dhikala are forest lodges for tourists and can accommodate visitor in their 19 room guest house. Visitors must have to making prior booking of atleast 30- 50 days before safari. Jim Corbet also have a big museum for visitors. Bird watchers has this place perfect for their tour sight in the Jungle Safari with options like Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari and Canter Safari.

    The park habitats around 500 different species of plants and animals including Elephants, Tigers, Chital, Gharial, Python, Muntjac, wild boar, Hedgehog, Flying fox, and around 400 different species of birds. This is not a zoo so visitors should not expect to saw every animals.

    Climate of Jim Corbet Tiger Nation Park

    The weather in the park is temperate compared to most other protected areas of India. The temperature may vary from 5 °C (41 °F) to 30 °C (86 °F) during the winter and some mornings are foggy.



    How to reach Jim Corbet Tiger Nation Park

    Journy from New Delhi is 250km which takes 5 hours of ride. Ramnagar is well connected via road to Lucknow, Nainital, Ranikhet, Haridwar, Dehradun and New Delhi.. By Air: The closest domestic airport to Corbett National Park is 50 kms away from Corbett National Park at Phoolbagh, Pantnagar. At 295 Km from Corbett National Park, the nearest International Airport is at Delhi.
